- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 3/4 cup oil
- l/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp basil
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 3-5 garlic cloves
- Blend all ingredients with a hand-mixer.

Wasn't this a closely guarded family secret???
About as closely guarded as the string bean casserole with Campbell's cream of mushroom soup and French's canned fried onions*.
*no, I won't be publishing that recipe anytime soon.
But seriously, I don't think recipes should be guarded, good food should always be shared.
